1989 – 1990 a teacher of music at the Basic School of Arts in Bratislava
1990 a scholarship holder of the Music fund and the director of programming at Evenings of New Music festival
1990 – 1992 Royal Conservatory (Koninklijk Conservatorium) in the Hague (composition – Louis Andriessen)
1991 – 1994 postgradual studies of music theory at the Academy of Music and Drama in Bratislava
1994 - 1997 doctoral study of composition at the Academy of Music and Drama in Bratislava (Juraj Beneš)
1992 participant at Dartington Summer Music School (electronic and environmental music – Trevor Wishart, Robert Worby)
1993 co-founder of the ensemble Požoň sentimentál
1994 founder and the main redactor of the programme The Studio of New Music in the radio RAGTIME; co-founder of the slovak section of ISCM; mover, co-founder and artistic director of the ensemble VAPORI del CUORE
1995 – 1996 a scholarship holder „composer-in-residence“ based on a grant from DAAD in Berlin
1996 mover, co-founder and artistic director of the ensemble appendix CONSORT
1997 - 2003 artistic director and main dramaturgist of the international festival Evenings of New Music
since 1997 he lectures history of music, composition and the music theory at the Academy of Music and Drama in Bratislava (since 2002 - scientific assistant)
